FMDC ADMISSION PROCEDURE 2020
Federal medical and dental college is located in Islamabad. It’s affiliated with SZABMU. This college is recognized by PM&DC. They offer 100 seats for mbbs. FMDC admission registration will open on 23 sptember 2020. Below is a step by step process to apply for fmdc.
Every year fmdc offers 100 seats for mbbs. Currently it’s their 7th batch. All applicants throughout pakistan can apply for admission. This is the only government medical college in Islamabad.
Admission Criteria
For admission students throughout pakistan can apply if they fullfil following demands.
- Have a 12 year education with fsc pre-medical.
- Have a domicile of any region of Pakistan.
- Seat availability is quota based.

Registration procedure for fmdc
To register you just need to fill a form at nts website. Then print this out. Submit clallan fee. Send it to fmdc admission office.
Fmdc merit list
You can see previous year fmdc merit list 2019. Last year merit was significantly high. Merit of 1st batch was around 78%.
100 seats per year have been allocated for admissions in MBBS at Federal Medical & Dental College (FM&DC). Every effort is taken to ensure transparency and addressing concerns in induction of students at FM&DC for which the HEC (Higher Education Commission) is assigned the responsibility of adherence to the relevant Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) rules and regulations.

Currently seven batches comprising of around 500 MBBS students have been admitted in the College.
Selection Criteria form fmdc admission
1)HSSC Marks: 65% Minimum
2)HEC Entry Test Marks: 50%
3)HSSC Marks: 40%
4)SSC Marks: 10% Details
Admission Test will be conducted by HEC(Higher Education Commission).

Beside this eligibility the FMDC has assign National Testing Services (NTS) to take an entry test from all the short listed and eligible candidates.
